Services at St Margaret’s
We hold one regular service each week, normally the Sung Eucharist on Sundays at 11:00am. This is a traditional-language service that lasts for about an hour, and is followed by refreshments.
More about our servicesThe Coronation of Their Majesties The King and The Queen will take place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6th May. To prepare for the occasion the Abbey will be closed to visitors and worshippers from 25th April and will re-open on Monday 8th May.
Find out moreSt. Margaret’s, known as ‘the church on Parliament Square’, is a 12th-century church next to Westminster Abbey. It’s also sometimes called ‘the parish church of the House of Commons’. Everyone’s welcome to visit or come along to our services.

The biggest challenge we face is actually time – getting all our work done alongside the daily routine of the Abbey as a working church, visitor attraction and home to 1,000 years of history.
