Symposium: Hope in Adversity
Westminster Abbey Institute brings together a panel of speakers for this lunchtime symposium on Hope in Adversity.

Chair: The Reverend Dr James Hawkey – Canon Theologian, Westminster Abbey
Andrew Grinnell is a facilitator of the Leeds Poverty Truth Commission and a development worker for the growing network of commissions across the UK. His doctoral thesis explored the relationship between poverty and hope.
Jenny McCartney grew up in Northern Ireland and lives in London, where she works as a journalist and author.
Nicolette Waldman is a research consultant for the Crisis Team at Amnesty International. Previously, she was a field researcher for the Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC).
