Crown Prince and Princess of Serbia mark UN World Humanitarian Day

Their Royal Highnesses The Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia attended a wreath laying ceremony at Westminster Abbey on Thursday 17th August 2023 to mark UN World Humanitarian Day.

The welcome was given by the Reverend David Stanton, Canon-in-Residence.

Words of Introduction were said by Sir Nick Young and a poem was read by Dr Elaine Laycock.

A tribute was given by Wassim Khmaja, Deputy CE, Action for Humanity.

A wreath was laid at the Innocent Victims Memorial by Yuliia Melnychuck, casework coordinator, Ukraine Response, British Red Cross, for all those who have lost their lives working for humanitarian causes around the world.
