St Margaret's Review Group appointed

The Dean and Chapter has announced the appointment of a St Margaret's Church, Westminster Abbey review group under the chairmanship of The Rt Hon The Baroness Butler-Sloss GBE.
The other members of the group will be The Reverend Canon Ralph Godsall (Priest Vicar, acting as Executive Secretary), The Reverend Jane Sinclair (Canon Steward, representing the Dean and Chapter), and Mr Greg Meier (representing the congregation of St Margaret's Church). Following the General Election in May, a Member of Parliament will be invited to join on the Speaker's recommendation.
The review group will address the central question: 'How can St Margaret's Church contribute most effectively towards the mission of Westminster Abbey?' The group will consult with St Margaret's congregation and staff, with the Palace of Westminster, with the Abbey's other institutional neighbours, and with the schools associated with St Margaret's Church. They will place proposals before the Dean and Chapter in key areas such as patterns of worship, music, congregational nurture, finance and fabric, hospitality facilities and the Westminster Abbey Institute.
It is envisaged that the final report to the Dean and Chapter will be made by Christmas 2015, indicating the relative significance of issues raised, and possible timescales, to enable decisions to be made concerning the scheduling of priorities.
