The life of The Duke of Edinburgh celebrated at Service of Thanksgiving

Members of the Royal Family celebrated the life and work of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, at Westminster Abbey on Tuesday 29th March 2022.
The service gave thanks for The Duke of Edinburgh’s dedication to family, Nation and Commonwealth, and reflected on the importance of his legacy. The Duke of Edinburgh died on 9th April last year.
The congregation
HM The Queen, TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and HRH Prince George, HRH The Princess Royal, TRH The Earl and Countess of Wessex, The Duke of York, HRH Princess Beatrice of York, and HRH Princess Eugenie of York were all in attendance.
Also among the congregation were members of overseas Royal Families and Prince Philip’s wider family and friends; Armed Forces Service Chiefs; the British Prime Minister, the Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP, and members of the Cabinet; the First Ministers of Scotland and Wales; and more than 500 representatives of The Duke of Edinburgh's patronages and charities.
