Community Learning Officer

Permanent – Part-time
(32 hours per week)

Westminster Abbey is seeking to recruit a Community Learning Officer, who will be developing and delivering the programme of learning to families, young people and community groups, making full use of the remarkable possibilities offered by the Abbey and in-line with the Learning Department five-year strategic plan.

You will work closely with the Head of Learning to recruit and train Family Learning Volunteers whilst working alongside others in the department to manage students on work placements. You will have excellent communication skills and an understanding of current best practice in informal learning. With your previous experience of having managed community projects in a heritage environment, you will also have the ability to adapt programmes to accommodate children and adults from different ability groups and extensive experience of working with families and young people.

In return, you will join a professional and supportive team with whom you will work collaboratively, alongside the wider team of colleagues from other Abbey departments and volunteers.

Travel Trade Manager (Maternity Cover)

Westminster Abbey is seeking to recruit a maternity cover for the Travel Trade Manager role to work closely with the Head of Event Management and Marketing to foster and maintain existing relationships and to increase visitors and related income to the Abbey year on year.

Successful candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven experience of working with ticket agencies and/or tour operators.
