Commonwealth Connections

Westminster Abbey, as a royal church, celebrates the Commonwealth all year round, including at a special service in March. We welcome pupils from schools across the Commonwealth to join one of our sessions, either in person or virtually, led by one of our experienced learning officers who can bring learning to life, in line with your programmes of study.

As the largest member state of the Commonwealth, India had a powerful influence on its formulation and continues to play a pivotal role within the modern day Commonwealth.
