President of the Republic of Korea visits the Abbey

HE Yoon Suk Yeol visited the Abbey on Tuesday 21st November as part of his State Visit to His Majesty The King.
Prayers were said at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior and the President laid a wreath in honour of the fallen of the two World Wars and more recent conflicts.
The President and First Lady, Mrs Kim Keon Hee, met Peter Fullelove, Trevor John, John Riley and Alfred Reed, veterans of the Korean War of 1950-53, before they were escorted on a short tour of the Abbey by the Dean of Westminster, the Very Reverend Dr David Hoyle.
Following the tour, the Dean invited President Yeol to sign the Distinguished Visitors’ Book.
